Bursaries
Second WABA Conference 2026
Dear WABA Members,
We are delighted to announce that, thanks to the generous support of our conference sponsors, five bursaries are available for the Second WABA Conference in Ghent (24–26 November 2026).
Each bursary has a total value of €650 and includes:
- Conference registration
- Conference dinner registration
- Three nights of hotel accommodation
Please note that travel expenses are not covered.
Eligibility
The bursaries are intended to support early-career participants (40 years or younger) who are living or working in low- and middle-income countries. Applicants from high-income countries are not eligible.
To be considered, applicants must also submit an abstract for either an oral or poster presentation at the conference. Check out our call for abstracts.
How to apply?
If you wish to apply, please complete the application form below before 15 June 2026.

Please note that failure to meet these deadlines may result in the bursary offer being withdrawn.
